Local or ClickBank Program?

The affiliate program maintained by LayGuide makes payments in PayPal, MoneyBookers and E-Gold (please see FAQ for the benefits of E-Gold). However, for those wishing to receive regular monthly checks instead, an alternative affiliates program has also been commenced with ClicBank, which you can join instead of the locally run program. Although commissions are the same with both programs, the payment method is not the only difference between them. Here is a breakdown of the main features of both programs:

Local Program ClickBank Program
Tracked by LayGuide, using Ultimate Affiliate ClickBank, using custom ClickBank scripts
Commissions 50% 50%
Statistics Detailed graphical statistics Accounting and revenues only
Delivery triggered Upon request Once a month (if minimum reached)
Minimum payout No minimum $10 minimum
Delivery frequency Infinite Once a month (if minimum reached)
Delivery time From hours to days From weeks to months
Delivery cost None Bank charges for cashing in checks
Multi-level commissions Yes, three levels deep No
Free webpage included Yes No

Please note, that under the local program, a one-time initial minimum review period of one month will be required of all newly joined affiliates before any payout can be made. After that, there are no minimum payout requirements.

To make it easier for you to decide which of them to choose, here are a few additional reasons why you might want to choose the ClickBank program over the local one:
  • Join the ClickBank Affiliate Program handled by iBill (you'll be taken to iBill's secure server).
  • Join the LayGuide Affiliate Program handled by LayGuide.
